As your local recycling center, Beachside Recycling is committed to servicing the community and does so in various ways. Below are some events that we sponsor and host.
Relay For Life
Every year Beachside Recycling sponsors Relay For Life, in order to assist with the cause, we allow customers to donate any of their materials towards Relay For Life, just bring in your material and mention Relay For Life and the proceeds from your material will be directly donated!
Beachside Recycling Newspaper/Phonebook Drive
Our yearly newspaper/phonebook drive! This is one of our most popular events. Every year Verizon Yellow Pages produces the new edition of yellow pages during the month of March, what will you do with the old phone book you ask...?
Bring it in to Beachside Recycling and donate your phonebooks proceeds to CHOC Children's Hospital!
This year in 2011, we had an amazing turnout toppling the scale at 245,403 lbs of phonebooks and ended up donating $8,143.52 dollars to the CHOC Children's Hospital!

APRIL 22 - Earth Day
Mark your calendars! Beachside Recycling will be hosting an event every year for earthday, and we encourage all of our commercial accounts to do the same. Host a recycling drive and generate revenue while creating awareness!
